4 Ingredients for a healthy & flourishing working relationship

One thing that I have learned over the years in business is that building great working relationship is essential to long lasting success for both parties.

Sadly, over the years in my own business, as well as the one I owned with my husband, I too often have seen the basic principles of this disappearing. Which in turn has caused so much unnecessary stress and frustration to take root.

I hence thought I would share my key ingredients for a healthy & flourishing working relationship with you, these are:

  1. Good Communication
  2. Respect
  3. Honesty
  4. Integrity – the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles.

If these only coming from one party, well, then nothing is going to work. Period.

Far too often one side is putting in all the effort and commitment, but the other does not acknowledge nor recuperate it. Which is really sad and can chisel away at someone’s self-confidence at times (trust me, been down that road a few times!).

And you know what, it doesn’t take much to cover all four of these aspects. I truly believe you can and should take the time to build a good working relationship. How can you not?! Not only will your business suffer, but also your personal connection in your life overall.

Hence my wish is that we all go back to these principles. Start creating the working relationships, which are a joy to be in and create riches, both professional and personal, to be proud off.

Especially as solopreneurs, small business owners and entrepreneurs, building solid and good relationships are key to success overall. We should all be supporting each other, and hence why these four key ingredients are so super important to me.

Would you agree with me that this is a ‘must have’ to a good working relationship? What experiences did you have, and what tips can you share? Please let me know, I am keen to hear about them.
